4 Under 40 Emerging Leaders
The AMA Emerging Leaders Award honors individuals who have already made significant contributions to the field of marketing and its sub-fields, and have demonstrated leadership and continuing service. The program is highly selective, with 4 individuals selected annually. Before submitting a nomination, please read carefully the following eligibility criteria.
Recognizes marketing academics who have made significant contributions to the research, theory and practice of marketing, and to the service and activities of the AMA over a prolonged period of time, while providing regular opportunities for fellowship and discussion.
Honors a long-standing leader in marketing who has made extensive contributions to marketing education and the marketing discipline in general.
Higher Education Marketer of the Year Award
The AMA Higher Education Visionary Leader and Innovator Awards honor extraordinary leadership and achievement in the field of higher education marketing and is brought to you by the AMA and its founding sponsor Lipman Hearne.
H. Paul Root/Marketing Science Institute
Recognizes the Journal of Marketing article that has made the most significant contribution to the advancement of the practice of marketing within the calendar year.
Hans B. Thorelli Award
Honors articles published in Journal of International Marketing that have made the most significant and long-term contributions to international marketing theory and thought.
Harold H. Maynard
Recognizes the Journal of Marketing article that makes the most significant contribution to marketing theory and thought within the calendar year.
Paul E. Green Award
Recognizes articles published in Journal of Marketing Research that have contributed significantly to the practice of marketing research.
S. Tamer Cavusgil Award
Honors articles published in Journal of International Marketing that have made the most significant contribution to the advancement of the practice of international marketing management.
Sheth Foundation/Journal of Marketing Award
Honors articles published in Journal of Marketing that have made long-term contributions to the discipline of marketing. Recognizes scholarship based on the benefits of time and hindsight and acknowledges contributions and outcomes made to marketing theory and practice.
Thomas C. Kinnear/Journal of Public Policy & Marketing Award
Honors articles published in Journal of Public Policy & Marketing that have made a significant contribution to the understanding of marketing and public policy issues.
William F. O’Dell
Recognizes the Journal of Marketing Research article that has made the most significant, long-term contribution to marketing theory, methodology, and/or practice.
