2025 AMA Marketing and Public Policy Conference

Building Bridges and Resilience

Chicago, IL— The 2025 AMA Marketing and Public Policy Conference will take place in Washington, D.C., June 20-22, 2025 with a theme of, “Building Resilience by Building Bridges: Business, Marketing, and Policy for Societal Well-Being.” The conference is an opportunity for professionals from government, industry, and academia to examine the intersection of marketing and public policy.

The event focuses on fostering collaboration between business and policy leaders to develop evidence-based strategies that drive resilience and societal impact. Discussions will explore marketing innovation, policy development, and real-world applications that contribute to public well-being.

“The AMA’s Marketing and Public Policy Conference showcases the intersectionality of marketing and public policy,” states AMA CEO Bennie F. Johnson. “The AMA creates these spaces for thought-leaders to share and grow, to advance knowledge, and to focus on advancing marketing’s role in addressing critical policy issues.”

“This event would not be what it is without the co-chairs, Chris Berry (Colorado State University), Eva Kipnis (University of Bradford) and Riley Krotz (Florida State University). The AMA is grateful to be working with such dedicated leaders who are helping to grow the profession,” said Johnson.

The special sessions highlight the rapidly developing intersection of marketing, public policy and global concerns. These challenges create an ever-changing landscape, putting pressure on a key mechanism for societal well-being: collective action and collaboration between governance, corporate, and civil society actors.
