If I’m an AMA member, how do I access all AMA journal articles?

First, make sure you’re logged in at AMA.org. Next, navigate to the Journals dropdown in the main menu. Choose the journal you’re interested in.

When you are on the desired journal page, click the “Go To The Journal” button, and you’ll be taken to the journal website, published in partnership with SAGE Publications (for the Journal of Marketing, click on “Go to the Journal Archive”). You should see a red icon with the word “American” in the upper right-hand corner of the SAGE site. That means you’re logged into the journal site as an AMA member, and you can read all AMA journal articles. NOTE: You have access to all four AMA journals (Journal of MarketingJournal of Marketing ResearchJournal of Public Policy & Marketing, and Journal of International Marketing); however, you do NOT have access to all SAGE journals through your AMA membership.

I’m already an AMA member and need to create a login for the new AMA.org. How do I connect my existing membership to my new account login?

Your existing membership information automatically connects to your new account as long as you use the primary email address associated with your membership. If you have not logged into AMA.org since February 11, click on “Login” in the top right of the screen and follow the prompt to create a new password.

If you are not sure which email address is associated with your membership, contact customersupport@ama.org.

Once you are logged in, you can see your membership info by following these steps:

  1. Select “My Account” on the top right
  2. Click on your name to access the dropdown and select “My Settings”
  3. Click on the “Memberships” tab
