Weekly Assignments

Each Thursday, you’ll be given online assignments to complete and discuss with fellow learners. These assignments will prepare you for the live sessions so you can make the most of your time with the instructor and peer collaboration.

3 Live Classes

Your instructor leads the live sessions where you will discuss the online assignments, ask questions and learn about trending topics. The live sessions will occur on May 8, May 22 and June 5.

Using Research to Understand Your Audience

As with any marketing practice, understanding your audience is key. This week will focus on spending time researching your audience in terms of how they show up and engage on social media, as well as looking to your competitors and the industry to see what they’re doing that performs well.

Virtually engage with your instructor and peers to discuss the content and activities covered in the first two weeks. Plus, we will discuss the different social media platforms and how to select the right ones for your business.

Content is king, but where are you getting it from? This week will focus on what a strategy for creating and gathering content looks like for you, and thinking through what types of content work best on different platforms.

Learn how to create a plan for repurposing your content across various channels and how different tools, including AI, can help ease your workload in terms of creating, managing and scheduling content.

Once your content is out there, ideally, you’ll see a lot of engagement. This week will focus on community management, creating a plan for managing comments, and what to do when things go differently than expected.

Implementing Your Strategy

You’ve done the work, so now it’s time to implement it! The final week will look at implementation by aligning your team roles and responsibilities, and how to set up processes to know if your strategy is working.

It’s time to wrap up the six-week program! Virtually engage with your instructor and peers to discuss the content, assignments and most significant takeaways, along with looking to the future on how and when you should plan to revise your strategy.
