Competition Process
- Sign up when competition opens in the Fall.
- Note: This is a team competition, with teams of 3-5 students (undergraduate students).
- 50 team spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You are allowed to register more than one team for the competition. However, initial team assignments will be limited to ensure broad chapter representation.
- First 30 unique teams to register will be guaranteed a spot.
- The remaining spots will be offered to additional teams that submitted more than one team, and assignments will be assigned in the order in which sign ups are received.
- Once teams and members are verified, participants will receive a confirmation email with further details.
- The competition brief and full instructions will be released to the student contact lead listed on the sign up form on Monday, October 19th by 12:00pm CT
- Round 1 will happen asynchronously (teams working independently) from Monday, October 19th – Sunday, November 1st.
- Round 1 submissions must be turned in by 11:59pm CT on Sunday, November 1st.
- Round 2 will happen in real time during AMA Career Week on Thursday, November 12th at 12:00pm CT.
- The top five teams identified by the Gerber Life team will be invited to present their submission in more detail during this session.
- First, second, and third place teams will be announced via AMA Collegiate Instagram account, with individual follow up being sent to the three teams via email.
- Round 1 will happen asynchronously (teams working independently) from Monday, October 19th – Sunday, November 1st.
- Open to all AMA Collegiate Chapters in good standing
Entry Requirements

- Exclusively open to AMA undergraduate students
- Each AMA Collegiate team may register multiple teams, consisting of 3-5 students, to compete
- The Virtual Digital Marketing Competition brief and full instructions will be released to the student contact lead listed on the sign up form on Monday, October 19th by 12:00pm CT
- Competition Format: Virtual
How is the Competition Judged?
Evaluation criteria will be made available along with competition brief and full instructions on Monday, October 19th by 12:00pm CT.
Competition Prize
The competition winners will be announced following the Career Week event, taking place November 9-13, 2026. This competition will award one winner in each of the following placements:
- 1st Place Winner: 1 (one) Complimentary Conference Registration to ICC 2027 and digital AMA Certificate
- 2nd Place – digital AMA Certificate
- 3rd Place – digital AMA Certificate
