Honoring a Legacy

Don Lehmann has influenced generations of marketers and scholars. Through his long-time service on the AMA Foundation Board of Advisors, he demonstrated that investing in others fueled innovation in marketing. Don set a standard of generosity, mentorship, and community that defined what it means to be part of this field. He shared a vision with the Foundation in early 2025: that meaningful philanthropy is built person to person. Established in his honor and with the support of his family, The Lehmann Leadership Circle carries this spirit forward.

About the Circle

The Lehmann Leadership Circle is the AMA Foundation’s annual giving society, recognizing individuals who invest in the students, faculty, and professionals who will define the future of marketing. Donors contribute gifts of $1,000-$5,000, with multi-year pledges up to 5 years also welcome. Gifts above $5,000 are also recognized and receive full Leadership Circle benefits.

The Impact

Contributions to the LLC support the AMA Foundation’s people-focused strategy across four areas: empowering the next generation of students through the Inspiring Next Gen Fund; developing forward-thinking faculty through the Innovators in Marketing Education Fund and the Breakthrough Marketing Research Fund; supporting passionate professionals through the Marketing Excellence in Action Fund; and building a dynamic community through the General Fund. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected marketing community for the next generation.
