The 2020 AMA Global Marketing SIG Conference scheduled for May 18-21 in Taormina, Sicily, has been postponed due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 outbreak and difficulties in travel. We currently plan on hosting the event in Taormina in 2021 with dates to be announced in the future.
What Happens Next?
All registrations will rollover to the 2021 event, however, if you would like a full refund of the registration fees, contact the AMA Support Center at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please know that due to high volume, refund requests could take 3-5 business days.
All papers accepted for the 2020 conference will remain automatically accepted for the 2021 event. Moreover, we will send out an additional Call for Papers. Those who had a submission rejected for the 2020 conference will have the opportunity to submit a revised version or another paper.
The conference program is designed to maximize professional development and networking opportunities. Several of the world’s leading thinkers in international marketing have confirmed their intentions to participate in the conference. Highlights include the opportunity to hear research that will be featured in an upcoming special issue of the Journal of International Marketing, the Doctoral Consortium gathering, and a unique cultural experience in Taormina, Sicily, Italy.
