IF I CAN MAKE IT THERE…What it really takes to build a brand in America

Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. ET. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Hosted by UK Advertising and the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, in partnership with the American Marketing Association and The Marketing Society, this breakfast will bring together approximately 30–50 senior brand and marketing leaders, largely from the U.S. alongside a smaller group of UK companies, for a candid conversation about what it really takes to build and grow a brand in America.

The discussion will be genuinely transatlantic, drawing on our speakers’ firsthand experience of entering and building in the U.S. alongside the perspectives of U.S. marketers in the room. We’ll explore what translates, what doesn’t, how brands balance local relevance with what makes them distinctive, and what UK and U.S. marketers can learn from one another.
