Faculty Advisor Registration

Current Faculty Advisors with active AMA memberships are eligible for complimentary registration to the International Collegiate Conference in exchange for judging a collegiate competition this academic year. Please complete this form by February 9th, 2018.

Submissions received after Feb. 9th will have to pay $100 for their registration.

Cancellation & Photo Policy

Conference Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration at any time by emailing info@ama.org​, calling 800-AMA-1150 or 312-542-9000. Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations received 7 to 30 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after the event. All refunds will be refunded to your original method of payment.  Registrations may not be shared, but may be transferred at no cost at any point prior to the start of the event with notification to the AMA by phone or email.

Conference Photo Policy

Registrants of AMA Events agree to allow AMA and its official photographer to photograph them in the context of the conference. Footage captured by the official AMA photographer may be used in future print and electronic promotional and archival materials. 

Please note: Any hotel room booked outside the AMA negotiated block of rooms will not be reimbursed for expenses, including the need to cancel the event.

Mark French

Please reserve your overnight accommodations early as there are a limited number of AMA special rates available.

The reservation cut-off date is March 9, 2018.

The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the Collegiate Conference. You must make your hotel reservations by March 9, 2018 and properly identify yourself to qualify for the special group rate (based on availability). After March 9, 2018, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. 

A deposit charge equal to (1) one night’s stay is required to hold each reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated, and, upon check-in, shall be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. The deposit is refundable if cancellation notice is received by 4:00pm hotel time at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Check in time is 3:00pm, and check out is 12:00pm. Anyone arriving earlier than 3:00pm will be checked in as soon as room(s) become available. An early departure fee of (1) one night's room and tax will apply if a guest checks out prior to the confirmed checkout date. Upon check in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. At that time, scheduled departure dates may be altered.

Shipping to the Sheraton

Shipping/Storage Procedures: Your chapter is responsible for shipping and storing any supplies, equipment, etc., needed for your display. If you are shipping materials, you must ensure that they arrive on the day you check-in to the hotel. The hotel does not provide storage for your exhibit and the AMA Staff Office will not be available for your storage purposes. Any items you bring must be stored in your guestroom.

As a complimentary service to registered guests, the hotel provides both wired and wireless access in the Link @ Sheraton.  The Link is located in the lobby, and it is well equipped with several computer terminals and printers.  The wireless access for the Link extends from the lobby upwards to the second floor level of the hotel, where guests can enjoy free wireless internet connectivity and an appetizing meal from the Roux Bistro restaurant.  Daily High Speed Internet Access tiered pricing structure for all guestrooms from $5.95 - $14.95 + tax daily.

Located on historic Canal Street just steps from the French Quarter, the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel is a short walk from Bourbon Street and steps away from the Mississippi River.  The Warehouse Arts District, Harrah’s Casino, the Aquarium of the Americas, IMAX Theater, the Superdome are all nearby, as are major malls including the Outlet Collection at Riverwalk, French Market and The Shops at Canal Place.

From East
Take Interstate 10 West to the Canal Street Exit #235B.
Turn right on Canal Street.
The hotel is about 10 blocks down on the right side (at the corner of Camp Street).

From North
From the Causeway exit, take Interstate 10 East to the New Orleans Business District.
Continue to the Poydras Street exit.
Follow Poydras Street for approximately 8 blocks.
Turn left on Camp Street.
Continue on Camp Street for approximately 3 blocks.
The hotel will be on the right.

From South
Take Highway 90 to the Westbank Expressway.
Proceed on the Westbank Expressway to the Crescent City Connection (approx10 miles).
From the right lane, exit at Camp Street (8 red lights).
Turn right on Canal Street.

Streetcar Transportation
The Hotel is located right on the Streetcar line which provides easy transit along Canal Street, St. Charles Avenue, and the Riverfront. One-way cost: $1.25 (subject to change without notice).

Parking at the Hotel
Valet parking service is available on a first come first serve basis (spaces are limited and oversized vehicles are not permitted). Vehicles are secured in a covered garage adjacent to the Hotel. The overnight parking rate for cars is $51.98 per night (subject to change without notice).
