Quarterly Chapter Reporting

In accordance with Professional Chapter Operating Standards, chapters are required to report information to the AMA Support Center quarterly and annually.

 

For FY24, we are transitioning away from monthly reporting and introducing a new quarterly reporting process in addition to annual reporting.  Our goal with this transition is to simplify administration efforts for our volunteer community while ensuring the AMA Support Center and Professional Chapters Council have the data needed to provide meaningful support throughout the year. This chapter data is also used to inform AMA strategic priorities and professional chapter community needs. 

The process will follow these deadlines:

Q1 Reporting Requirements (July-September)

Submission Deadline: October 31, 2023

Documents Submitted: 

  • Q1 Income Statement
  • Q1 Balance Sheet

Update on Chapter Operations including: 

  • Status on FY24 Strategic Goals
  • Update on FY24 Board Role Vacancies
  • Status Update on FY25 Succession Planning 
  • Status Update on Programming Efforts
    • Number of In-Person Events to Date: 
    • Number of Virtual or Hybrid Events to Date:
    • Number of Mentorship Program Participants (if applicable): 
  • Status Update on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Efforts

 

Q2 Reporting Requirements (October-December)

Submission Deadline: January 31, 2024

Documents Submitted: 

  • Q2 Income Statement
  • Q2 Balance Sheet
  • Submit Updated FY24 Strategic Plan (If Relevant)

Update on Chapter Operations: 

  • Status on FY24 Strategic Goals
  • Update on FY24 Board Role Vacancies
  • Status Update on Succession Planning
  • Status Update on Programming Efforts
    • Number of In-Person Events in Q2: 
    • Number of Virtual or Hybrid Events in Q2:
    • Number of Mentorship Program Participants (if applicable): 
  • Status Update on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Efforts
  • Executive Marketer Program details (if operating currently in your chapter)

 

Q3 Reporting Requirements (January-March)

Submission Deadline: April 30, 2024

Documents Submitted: 

  • Q3 Income Statement
  • Q3 Balance Sheet

Update on Chapter Operations: 

  • Status on FY24 Strategic Goals
  • Confirm Completion of FY25 Board Elections / Updated Roster
  • Board Role Vacancies for FY25
  • Status Update on Programming Efforts
    • Number of In-Person Events in Q3: 
    • Number of Virtual or Hybrid Events in Q3:
    • Number of Mentorship Program Participants (if applicable): 
  • Status Update on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Efforts

 

Q4 Reporting Requirements (April-June)

Submission Deadline: July 31, 2024

Documents Submitted: 

  • End of Year Income Statement
  • End of Year Balance Sheet
  • Updated Constitution & Bylaws (if relevant)

Update on Chapter Operations: 

  • Update on FY24 Strategic Goals
  • Board Role Vacancies for FY25
  • Status Update on Programming Efforts
    • Number of In-Person Events in Q4: 
    • Number of Virtual or Hybrid Events in Q4:
    • Number of Mentorship Program Participants (if applicable)
  • Status Update on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Efforts
