The American Marketing Association provides select AMA Collegiate Regional Events with Career Forum Grants to elevate their career development components and broaden their reach beyond the host institution. Submit the form below to apply!
To be selected, a regional event should:
- Include a career development-focused keynote event or panel
- Include networking opportunities between students and professionals
- Include outreach to their nearest Professional Chapter
- Be open to students within their region, beyond the institution, and regardless of AMA membership
- Include in its program outcomes to prepare students for a career in marketing, whether during their time at school, or post-graduation
- Incorporate diverse, equitable and inclusive strategies throughout the event planning and execution process
- Event can be either existing or inaugural
- Chapters at Minority-serving Institutions (HBCUs, HSIs, etc.) are especially welcome to apply
- Selection will also take into consideration regional scope, to represent at least four unique areas during the year
Please only submit one application per regional event.
Note to Past Recipients: Past Career Forum Grant recipients are not eligible to be selected again until two years after their regional event. For example, a recipient chapter selected for the Fall 2024 grant will not be eligible for selection until Fall 2026.
Event Readiness Requirement: To ensure that grant funds are awarded to chapters with the capacity to successfully host their proposed event, applicants should have key event logistics solidified before submission. This includes securing an event date and reserving an appropriate space on campus. While full event execution is not expected at the time of application, chapters must demonstrate that they have the foundational elements in place to move forward upon receiving funding.
Applications for the Spring 2026 semester are now open! The deadline to submit is Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 11:59pm CT.
