In a recent Pew Research Center report, of those who quit their jobs in 2021, 33% cited ‘no opportunities for advancement’ as a major reason for their departure. 35% stated that ‘feeling disrespected’ was their primary reason. So with the increased focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, what can companies do to ensure their efforts are not just recruiting but retaining underrepresented talent?
