The role of the CMO continues its rapid evolution as the higher education landscape continues to shift. More than ever, the CMO is tasked with achieving measurable brand performance, advancing institutional priorities, and meeting strategic goals and often sits at the intersection of data and technology — responsible for championing digital proficiency on their campus.
In this session, Jason will share trends and insight into the shifting landscape in higher ed and re-imagine the CMO’s role in leading Marketing Communications teams into the future. Previewing findings from our latest CMO Study, Jason will discuss the state of higher ed budgets & staffing, organizational structure, and digital acumen in defining how CMOs can build the performance-driven brands of the future.
