How To Use the AMA Media Kit Template
- Make a Copy
- Go to File ➝ Make a Copy or download the document for internal use.
- Open the Email Planning Template
- Start in the main sheet. Each row represents one email in your flow.
- Add Your Flow Names & Flow Types, Examples:
- New User Onboarding
- Trial Nurture Flow
- Weekly Newsletter
- Re-Engagement Sequence
- Step 3A (optional but recommended): Add New Flows in the “Flows” Tab. Before selecting Flow Names, you can manage all available lifecycle flows in the Flows tab. This tab acts as your flow library and powers automatic Flow Type assignment.
When you add a new flow here, it becomes available in the dropdown on the main sheet. Add or update the following to keep Flow Names consistent and ensure Flow Type auto-fills correctly:- Flow Name (e.g., “Activation Flow,” “Customer Onboarding,” “Win-back Campaign”)
- Flow Type (Onboarding, Marketing, Re-engagement, Win-back, Transactional)
- Add Email #, Topic, Trigger, and Timing
- Define your lifecycle logic using trigger events and timing delays.
- Assign Owners & Statuses
- Use the dropdowns to track progress across your team.
- Fill Performance Metrics
- Enter sent, delivered, opened, and click data from your ESP. Formulas automatically calculate KPIs.
- Use Flow Summary for Reporting
- The Flow Summary tab automatically aggregates performance by flow. Share this view during team meetings or weekly standups.
