Metaverse: Consumer Behavior and Well-Being

The rise of metaverses will impact consumer behavior in fundamental ways, from how consumers make decisions and form brand relationships to how they experience a sense of self and well-being. As such, the consumer research community has started to explore metaverse related topics including consumer behavior in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). This JACR special issue aims to highlight the growing research trend and spark new investigations into the metaverse frontier.
