Part 1: UX Foundations for Marketers

  • Understanding of core UX concepts (UX vs. CX vs. UI) and how they impact marketing performance
  • Ability to recognize good vs. poor UX using usability heuristics and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Foundational knowledge of user behavior, intent, and decision-making psychology
  • Basic familiarity with user journeys, personas, and interaction patterns
  • Awareness of inclusive design principles and their role in reaching diverse audiences

Part 2: UX Design Principles

  • Ability to apply UX strategy frameworks to marketing challenges
  • Skills in audience segmentation, targeting, and aligning experiences to user intent
  • Understanding of task flows, information hierarchy, and conversion optimization principles
  • Familiarity with analytics, testing methods, and performance measurement (e.g., conversion rates, engagement metrics)
  • Working knowledge of accessibility and standards-based design to ensure compliant, inclusive experiences

Will this bootcamp prepare me for the Digital Marketing certification program?

The UX Foundations for Marketers Bootcamp is not a direct preparation pathway for the AMA Digital Marketing PCM certification. However, the bootcamp will grow your skills in specific content areas that may make you more confident in enrolling in a Certification program.
