Like many of the stars who parade down the red carpet, the Golden Globes’ digital marketing platforms got a makeover this year.

The Los Angeles-based Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), owner of the Golden Globes, hired Perrysburg, Ohio-based digital marketing agency Bluefin Media to redesign its website, GoldenGlobes.com, and revamp its content strategy to reach a younger audience and appeal to entertainment aficionados throughout the year, not just during awards season. Marketing News Exclusives caught up with Brad Mandell, CEO of Bluefin Media, to discuss the efforts prior to the airing of the 71st annual Golden Globes on Jan. 12.
