While sudden cardiac arrest is a threat to anyone, research shows that the condition disproportionately impacts African-Americans. To help combat the disease and promote education among those most affected, the Heart Rhythm Society and BRG Communications developed a nation-wide public awareness campaign called Arrest the Risk.​​​
