Discrete Choice, Best-Worst, and Volumetric Choice Data in R
Professor Jordan Louviere, who passed away this year, pioneered all the contents covered in this workshop.
A 3-Day Remote Workshop Taught by Towhid Islam, PhD., Professor, Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the design and analysis of traditional discrete choice experiments (DCE), best-worst scaling (BWS), and the recently developed volumetric choice experiment (VCE) that elicits discrete count quantities. Choice models are frequently used by academics, industry researchers, and public policymakers to understand individual choice behavior and are applied in a dozen disciplines, including economics, finance, urban planning and transportation, environmental economics, health, and agriculture, among other strategic and tactical areas of interest.
