Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
July 29 – July 31, 2022
Conference Theme and Objective
This conference aims to showcase the latest research on cross-cultural consumer behavior. The conference will be open to those with a serious interest in understanding how culture shapes consumers’ judgments, choices, responses, and behaviors through rigorous theoretical and empirical research. Researchers will be encouraged to participate and share insights regarding the antecedents, consequences, processes, and boundary conditions relating to the roles of culture in marketing theories and practice. A unique highlight of the conference will be a keynote speech by Prof. Sharon Shavitt, a world-renowned scholar in cultural research, who will give her perspective on recent developments in cross-cultural consumer behavior and topics needing more work.
Conference Format
Join us to exchange ideas, brainstorm, and socialize with each other in a small-group setting. Lunches and other events will also give the attendants the opportunity to experience what Singapore has to offer.

In keeping with the boutique nature of the conference, it will have a limit of 60 attendees. All attendees are expected to be engaged or interested in research on cross-cultural consumer behavior.
