Dear Faculty Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce the inaugural Dr. Ilana Shanks Emerging Scholar award. Established in the memory of PhD Project graduate Ilana Shanks, this award recognizes an emerging scholar (within 6 years of having completed their PhD). Applications should demonstrate the scholar’s contribution to addressing significant problems, creativity and innovation, methodological and conceptual rigor in their research, the potential to substantially advance understanding of a marketing-related issue, and a focus on societal issues.

Applicants should be either a PhD Project graduate or a member of the Marketing Ethnic Faculty Association (an organization open to all scholars). The recipient will receive a $1000 monetary award and a plaque, which will be awarded at the PhD Project MDSA dinner in August 2022.  We look forward to receiving applications between now and April 15, 2022.
