Dr. Eli Jones is a Professor of Marketing and Lowry and Peggy Mays Eminent Scholar at his alma mater, Texas A&M University. He has published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, Management Science, and Journal of Applied Psychology, among other journals. Also, he is a co-author of Selling ASAP (textbook and professional edition) and Strategic Sales Leadership: Breakthrough Thinking for Breakthrough Results.
The proposed AMA Foundation Eli Jones Article Award for Long-Term Impact in Sales Research will be made annually to a paper published in a refereed journal that has made a significant long-run impact on professional selling and sales management theory and practice.
