The Psychology of Technology Institute team invites you to join us on August 31st for the second conversation in our virtual conversation series, Tech Talks. The purpose of having these conversations is to tackle big questions about how technology is changing human psychology and society.

This month’s Tech Talk is on Technology and the Future of Power, featuring three expert panelists: Adam Galinsky (Columbia), Deborah Gruenfeld (Stanford), and Jeremy Heimans (CEO of Purpose). Our own Nathanael Fast (USC Marshall) will moderate the conversation. To attend live, RSVP here!

These experts will have an intimate conversation on such far-ranging topics as:

  • how people gain or lose power and status in digital contexts
  •  the ways in which new platforms and algorithms are changing how ideas spread
  • the implications of the changing power landscape for leadership, politics, business, and societal well-being
  • and wherever else the conversation takes us!

Sincerely,

Juliana Schroeder & Nate Fast, Psych of Tech Co-Directors
