It is with great sadness that we announce that Texas Tech Professor Shannon Rindaldo has died. Shannon’s first symptoms of glioblastoma appeared five years ago while at an academic conference. She underwent three surgeries, countless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, yet still managed to be a successful scholar and teacher.
During her 13 year career at Texas Tech, Shannon supervised several dozen students’ research. In recognition of Shannon’s contributions, especially her work with undergraduate research, the Rawls College of Business has established a scholarship in her name to support undergraduate students who participate in research.
