RE: Our 20th MMA Fall Conference Has Been Re-Scheduled; We’re Exploring a MMA Fall Virtual Conference

Dear Colleagues,

Amid our continued adjustments to the COVID-19 global pandemic, MMA leadership has re-scheduled our 20th Fall Educator’s Conference to next year. We have reserved the Omni in Providence, RI for us to gather on October 13-15, 2021 with future fall MMA conferences set through 2023. While physically we will not gather in the Fall, a sub-team of the Executive Board is working on a MMA Fall Virtual Conference that can keep us learning, presenting, and growing as marketing educators. Details about this potential opportunity as well as an update on the MMA Spring Conference are forthcoming.

Since this is our second conference cancellation amid the pandemic, I am making two requests of you. First, please send a supportive email or note of encouragement to a fellow MMA member or to someone who should become a member. Make it a goal to continue connecting for good until our Association can gather again. Second, please renew your MMA membership. Membership renewal is easy, is on the website, and is a great value at $50. Renewals will help MMA offset expenses that occur, despite the loss of annual conference revenue.

I hope you will join or renew your commitment to MMA, and I look forward to keeping you updated about MMA efforts in the months ahead.
