The AMA seeks input on institutions' 2020-2021 hiring plans through a three-question survey

Over the course of the last two weeks, the AMA and Academic Council leadership have been contacted by a variety of concerned stakeholders regarding the AMA Academic Placement event and associated interviewing. AMA staff have responded by preparing for a variety of scenarios and following recommendations from the World Health Organization in their planning.
The Academic Council in turn is working with AMA staff in terms of considering how to best support this year’s job market. These considerations include moving the on-site interviewing at AMA in August to the AMA’s Winter conference in February 2021, possibly giving students and recruiting faculty more time to cope with the current global health crisis.
We are asking marketing faculty to complete the following three-question survey regarding their institutions’ hiring activities. This survey will help inform decisions as we proceed with event planning.
