Analtyics Student Competition
INFORMS OR and Analytics Student Team Competition; Deadline 20 Dec 2019
The 2020 INFORMS OR & Analytics Student Team Competition challenges undergraduate and master’s students to design a manufacturing distribution network that involves determining product flows in the presence of resource capacity constraints. Sponsored by Bayer, the problem provides realistic data for students to perform statistical analyses, develop simulation models and/or machine learning, design the distribution network using optimization, and conduct a quantitative assessment of their solution.
Six finalist teams will receive cash prizes (first place is $7,500), along with free registration and a travel stipend to present their work at the INFORMS Business Analytics Conference in April 2020.
