Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,

You are kindly invited to submit a paper for inclusion in an edited volume in honor of late Professor Petros Malliaris, ex-member of the Professors Emeriti of the Department of Business Administration, University of Piraeus, and former director of the Executive MBA program at the same University.

The magnitude of Professor Malliaris’ contribution to the discipline of Marketing in Greece is unsurpassable. Being among the very first Greek academics with a specialized PhD in Marketing from a US University, he occupied for more than 30 years the Chair of Marketing at the University of Piraeus. Thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students have followed his inspiring lectures and his Introduction to Marketing textbook served as the main marketing textbook in most Greek Universities the last 30 years, standing still as the most valuable tool for the introduction and customization of Marketing in the Greek economy.

To honor the memory of late Professor Malliaris, the Department of Business Administration at the University of Piraeus decided to publish an edited volume with research and/or conceptual papers. Each paper should be written in English or Greek and constitute original, unpublished work by the author/co-authors. The submitted papers should not exceed 7000 words, including tables, references and appendices and should follow the format of papers submitted to the Journal of Marketing. Papers should be submitted electronically in an editable format (i.e. Word), to the following address: hon_volume@unipi.gr

Structure of the paper:

? A separate file with the contact details of the Author(s) (name(s) and affiliation(s), full address and e-mail address) and the title of the paper.

? A file with the main Paper, which should contain in the first page an abstract (maximum 200 words) summarizing the main goals, findings and conclusions of the research and 5 keywords

The deadline for paper submission is the 31st of January 2019.

Papers will undergo a review process by the editorial committee and a notification of acceptance will be issued no later than the 30th of April 2019.

Thanking you in advance for your effort to honor our academic endeavor, we look forward to our further fruitful co-operation.
