The Kilts Center for Marketing at Chicago Booth offers three Nielsen data sets for academic research

In partnership with the Nielsen Company, the Kilts Center for Marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business has made three Nielsen datasets available for academic research.

  • Consumer Panel ? household panel data
  • Retail scanner ? point of sale data
  • AdIntel ? advertising data

The subscriptions are reasonably priced and help subsidize the operation and continuing updates.
