Introduction
Emerald Publishing seeks three Regional Editors for the European Journal of Marketing; Deadline 4 Sep 2017
The European Journal of Marketing will be appointing three Regional Editors to work with new Editor-in-Chief Greg W. Marshall under a new review structure from January 2018. These new roles will be:
- Regional Editor – Europe
- Regional Editor – Americas
- Regional Editor – Asia Pacific
Applications are invited for these positions. The role will involve working closely with the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors with respect to submissions from authors in the respective region. The Regional Editor will control the review process for these submissions and engage the subject expertise of the Associate Editors who are responsible for the various specific content sub-fields of marketing. The Regional Editors will play a key role in the continued strategic growth and development of the journal and will be its key ambassadors in their parts of the world.
We invite applications for these roles which should include:
- Evidence of editorial experience (i.e. as an Editor/Associate Editor/Guest editor)
- Strong profile within the marketing field
- A vision for how you see the European Journal of Marketing developing

European Journal of Marketing receives well over 800 submissions per year and publishes 12 issues per year. It is included in SSCI and Scopus and registers around 1 million downloads per year. Its Impact factor has increased steadily since it gained one in 2008. The content, authorship and readership of the journal are wholly international. It is ranked at 3 by the UK CABS and A* by the Australian ABDC lists. Google Scholar ranks it 7th in marketing journals according to the H5 index.
