IJRM on the Future of Marketing

Introduction

Free access to articles on the future of marketing from the International Journal of Research in Marketing

I am pleased to present five articles, free to download for a limited amount of time, from the upcoming 2017 Issue #1 of IJRM (International Journal of Research in Marketing). The first three articles constitute a special section, “The Future of Marketing,” and the other two are selections from the regular issues. The articles typify IJRM’s positioning at the cutting edge of marketing thinking, and the journal’s preference for new and futuristic thinking. The articles include the first article in a major marketing journal on the Internet of Things, as well as two articles on the forefront of digital marketing and social media, an article using agent-based models to explore marketing phenomena, and a look forward into the future of marketing theory, extending the service dominant logic.
