Aim of this SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SIG) is to provide a platform for exchange of ideas and push periphery of our current understanding about role of MNEs in development of markets they benefit from and recognise the guidance provided to MNEs through Sustainable Development Goals. Contribution and limitations of multinational firms to development of their target markets will be highlighted by bringing together scholars, practitioners and policymakers working in the related areas.

Keynote speeches by leading international experts from the field of marketing, technology, management and development will be delivered. Stakeholders related to the field of energy, health and sanitation will come together with an intention to acknowledge recent trends, consumption patterns, business practices and scope for management from the point of view of social inclusion through social development. We invite doctoral students, academic scholars and practitioners workng in diverse backgrounds to participate and submit abstracts of their related works for presentation. A wide range of topics that are not limited to the ones listed below will be covered:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

An abstract of about 500 words for presentation with a separate cover page providing title, affiliation and contact details of authors should be submitted via one email as word attachments to Mr Mahipal Bhukya (mahipalbhukya@gmail.com) and Dr Amit Soni (amit.soni@jaipur.manipal.edu).

A scientific panel will review and nominate papers for a Best Paper Award. An author may submit a maximum of two abstracts and present one of their submission. At least one author of accepted abstracts must register by November 20, 2016.
