Franchise Contracts
Introduction
Farhad Sadeh and Manish Kacker seek unpublished work on the fee structure of franchise contracts
Dear marketing scholars,
We are conducting a meta-analysis on the fee structure of franchise contracts. Specifically, we are looking at the correlation between the initial fee (franchise fee/initial fee/initial investment) and the ongoing fee (royalty rate/advertising fee).
To avoid or reduce the potential issue of publication bias and the “file drawer problem”, we need to collect unpublished essays and papers about the topic we are studying. If you have done a study in the franchising context or if you have these variables in your empirical research and your study results have not yet been published, we would appreciate it if you could provide us the manuscript or the following information at the earliest:
- The title and year of your study and the name of the authors
- The correlation table of your study (including mean and standard deviation)
- The sample size of your study
- The reliability coefficients of the constructs you have used (if applicable)
- Data source and time of collection
Please send this information to sadehf@mcmaster.ca in an attached Word or PDF file or in the body of your email.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Farhad Sadeh
