Introduction
European Social Survey Conference, Lausanne, Switzerland, in 13-15 Jul 2016; 17 Jan
The 3rd International European Social Survey Conference will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 13-15 July 2016.
The conference will showcase research that uses even partially data from the European Social Survey (ESS) to address a range of substantive issues highly relevant to European societies. These include, but are not limited to: migration, work and family life, wellbeing, health, welfare, political engagement and social norms and values. Practical and policy implications of the research will be drawn out wherever possible.
Some examples of conference sessions where you are invited to submit abstracts include "The effects of entrepreneurship on well-being", "Social innovativeness and social progress" and "European attitudes in global perspective".
The deadline to submit an abstract of up to 500 words is January 17th.
The conference is being organised by the European Social Survey European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ESS ERIC) and The Swiss Centre of Expertise in the Social Sciences (FORS).
