The AMA SERVSIG announces a call for special session proposals for the AMA Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference (August 5-7, 2016) in Atlanta, GA. Bernard Jaworksi (Claremont Graduate University) and Neil Morgan (Indiana University) serve as the conference co-chairs. SERVSIG members are highly encouraged to submit proposals; however, non-SERVSIG members are also welcomed to submit proposals. The SERVSIG committee is especially interested in topics related to the conference theme of “Regaining Relevance: Doing Research that Shapes the Practice of Marketing.” As such, SERVSIG calls for proposals linking services to (one or more of) the six key problems that guide the conference (for those key questions, see https://www.ama.org/events-training/Conferences/Pages/2016-Summer-Academic-Conference-Call-For-Papers.aspx). Proposals may also be based upon the following services topics: Consumer Behavior and Misbehavior in Services * Business-to-Business Services * Service Dominant Logic * Customer Experience and Value Co-Creation * Building Relationships in Services * Service Operations Management * E-Services and Social Media * Innovation in Services * Service Design * Building Sustainability in Services * International Marketing in Services * Developing Service Value * Service Markets and Networks * Service Supply Chains * Servicescapes * Service Encounters * Service Environment * Research and Teaching Methods in Services * Service Recovery and Complaint Management * Service Productivity * Branding and Communication in Services * Tourism Services * Transformative Services * Sport Services * Public and Non-Profit Services.
