Revisit: Positive Marketing 2016

Introduction

Conference for Positive Marketing, New York City, 31 Mar-1 Apr 2016; Pitch deadline 30 Nov

CALL FOR COLLABORATION

The marketers that create the greatest good in the world are those that empower and energize their customers, not just in the marketplace, but in their communities and in their lives. Taking that as a cue, the Conference for Positive Marketing aims to be YOUR conference, to be held at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus from March 31 to April 1, 2016.

With an eye toward being a springboard for collaboration, this conference encourages you to create a program tailored to your interests with sessions designed to foster connections with like-minded scholars and practitioners, and to facilitate dynamic, productive conversations.

Instead of traditional submissions, we are asking you to pitch session themes driven by your expertise and passions. And instead of a traditional peer review process, we are asking all participants and attendees to identify and contribute to relevant session pitches by commenting and voting on them. With a program designed by its participants, the Conference for Positive Marketing aims to be relevant and engaging for all attendees.

To start, visit http://positivemarketing.ideascale.com to PITCH, CONTRIBUTE to, and/or VOTE on session ideas:

**PITCH a new session**

Session topics can include anything related to the use of marketing to make the world a better place. Practitioners are welcome to share stories and lessons from their challenges, successes, and failures in their attempts to market positively, while researchers and scholars are welcome to share theories and empirical evidence that enhance understanding of current positive marketing practices and shed light on emerging phenomena.

To help get your gears turning about pitch possibilities, see live pitches now at http://positivemarketing.ideascale.com.

**CONTRIBUTE to existing session pitches**

Did someone already pitch a session idea that fits your expertise or passions? Great! Comment on that session idea at IdeaScale.com, telling everyone what you have to contribute to that session (e.g., original research, case study, skill training, etc.)

**VOTE on session pitches and contributions**

If you want to participate in a session without giving a formal presentation/contribution, or you just want to support it, simply vote for the session at IdeaScale.com.

Our aim is to run any and all quality sessions that are relevant to positive marketing and generate sufficient interest – indicated by online votes and comments – at the conference.

New session pitches will be accepted until November 30, 2015.

Contributions to existing session pitches will be accepted until December 31, 2015.

Acceptance e-mails for formal contributions will be sent on a rolling basis starting on December 1, 2015.

Full details, including the official "Call for Collaboration" can be found at http://positivemarketing.ideascale.com.

Join us in what is sure to be a productive and positive experience from now through the end of the conference!
