AMA CBSIG Lifetime Achievement Award
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The CBSIG of the American Marketing Association (AMA) welcomes nominations for the CBSIG Lifetime Achievement Award. This award honors a marketing scholar who has contributed significantly to the field of consumer behavior. Past winners include Lynn Kahle and Linda Price. Nominees (self-nominees welcomed) must meet the following criteria:
- Be a faculty in marketing, advertising or psychology
- Have contributed a significant body of work in developing and advancing research in the consumer behavior area
- Have published articles in AMA journals
- Active membership in AMA during the majority of one’s career
- Be a member of the CBSIG at the time of nomination
Nominations should include a cover letter from the nominator (self-nominees welcomed) as to why the nominee would be a good representative of AMA for the award.
All nominations must be received by 5pm EST on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Nominations should be emailed to Dr. Julie Guidry Moulard, Vice President of Scholarly and Social Programs, at jmoulard@latech.edu. Please contact Julie via e-mail with questions.
A committee comprised of members of the CB Leadership Team and the past award winners will determine the winner. The winner will receive a plaque at the 2016 AMA Winter Educators’ Conference and be featured in the CBSIG newsletter. The winner will be notified by mid-January.
