Sports Marketing in the Digital Age

2016 European Marketing Academy Special Session Call for Papers

Hosted by Norwegian Business School

Oslo, Norway

The profusion of digital channels and the challenges of digital brands have created numerous new strategic dilemmas for sports marketing academicians and for sports business practice and policymakers. In the last decade digital capabilities have changed how we study sports marketing, and digital services have changed the questions asked by sports marketing scholars. With this digital ubiquity in mind, this special session seeks to highlight sports marketing scholarship that addresses managerially relevant challenges in the digital age.
