Introduction

Kent B. Monroe has won the AMA Retail and Pricing SIG's Lifetime Achievement Award in Pricing

We are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2015 AMA Retail and Pricing Special Interest Group Lifetime Achievement Award in Pricing. The Lifetime Achievement Award in Pricing was established in 2012 to recognize significant contributions of scholars in developing and advancing the area of pricing. The nomination process included recommendation letters from colleagues and a review of scholarly activity. Nominations were reviewed by a panel of three distinguished scholars. We would like to formally announce this year’s recipient:

2015 Lifetime Achievement in Pricing Award:

Kent B. Monroe, Ph.D.
J. M. Jones Distinguished Professor of Marketing, Emeritus, University of Illinois
Distinguished Visiting Scholar, University of Richmond

Dr. Monroe will be presented with a plaque of recognition at the Summer Educator’s Conference in Chicago, August 14-16, 2015. The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of August 15, 2015 during the Retail and Pricing SIG reception. We hope you will attend the SIG reception to honor Kent and his contributions to the field of pricing. Congratulations Kent!
