We are proud to announce that Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and the International Hospitality Information Technology Association (iHITA) will work together to offer a best research paper award to be presented at the 2015 Annual iHITA Research Conference on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Austin, TX.

iHITA is a professional organization for educators, researchers and practitioners who are committed to the advancement of hospitality technology. The iHITA conference, the oldest research conference focusing solely on hospitality technology, is a successful forum for bringing together key players (such as educators, vendors, and researchers) of information technology in the global hospitality industry with the goal of improving the quality of education, research, and the technology itself. Research topic for potential papers can be interpreted broadly as long as long as there is relevance for the hospitality, travel and tourism academic domain. These could include (for example) issues in the information systems, electronic marketing, e-commerce and distribution, social media marketing and revenue management domains, as well as other subjects within the overall conference theme.

The deadline for the conference paper submissions is Sunday, March 15, 2015.
