Academy for Wine Business Research 2016 Conference Call for Papers

The 9th AWBR conference will run from February 16-19, 2016 and will be hosted by the University of South Australia Business School and the wine marketing team at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science in Adelaide, South Australia.

Adelaide is surrounded by wine regions (Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale etc.) and is world-famous for the quality of local food as well as wine. The AWBR conference is right in the middle of the summer growing season and a wide range of beautiful produce will be available. As well as joining us for the conference, we hope you can take the time to enjoy some of the things that make South Australia a special part of the world.

Prior to the AWBR conference we will be holding a one-day Australian Wine Industry Conference – on February 16. Most of the presentations will be delivered by highly influential wine industry speakers, but we will also accept a small number of academic submissions. Attendance is optional and there will be a separate fee. However, this one-day session represents a unique opportunity for academics to listen to and understand the latest marketing trends and needs for the Australian wine industry. Academics who want to present their research are asked to submit a 300 word abstract on their research and its usefulness to managers.
