The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, The Oeconomica Timisiensis Foundation and The East-European Center for Research in Economics and Business (ECREB) are pleased to invite you to attend the third edition of The InternationalConference ”Current Economic Trends in Emerging and Developing Countries” (TIMTED – 2015), which will be held from 18th to 20th June 2015, at the West University of Timisoara, Romania. The conference addresses all interested persons in the related field, academics and professionals as well, from all over the world.
The goal of the conference is to offer a high quality scientific environment for all participants, in order to meet, exchange and debate ideas, opinions and expertise. Subsidiarily, the conference also encourages the submissions of interdisciplinary research, i.e. economics and business fields correlated with other areas, such as: sociology, politics, psychology etc.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in two journals: Journal of Heterodox Economics and Timisoara Journal of Economics and Business. The papers will be reviewed according to the internal review criteria.
The main topics are (but not limitative):
- accounting and auditing;
- business information system;
- finance, money, banking and capital market;
- growth and development;
- heterodox economics;
- macroeoconomics;
- management;
- marketing;
- microeconomics and industrial economics;
- public choice;
- social and welfare economics.
The social program include a cruise on Danube.
The official language of the conference and workshops is English.
Call for papers

Potential participants are invited to submit their contributions (research papers, research notes and/or Ph.D. research in progress) which have not been published before. All accepted papers will be presented at the conference. As technical support for presentations, all conference rooms will be equiped with PC and Video Projector (for presentation, it is recommended to use PowerPoint software). The abstract of the papers presented at the conference will be published in the 2015 TIMTED Proceedings.
