Nominations for the following two awards are being sought for Summer AMA Marketing Communications SIG 2014. A letter of nomination and current vita for the nominee are required for consideration. Letters should be no more than 3 pages and should describe how the individual meets the qualification of the award. All nominations must be submitted by July 25, 2014. Winners will be announced at the Summer AMA MarComm SIG Reception. The recipient of the 2014 awards will receive a complimentary conference registration and a plaque/award. New Scholar Award for Research In Marketing Communications

Marketing Communications SIG will recognize one new scholar (doctoral student up to 3 years post doctorate) with outstanding promise in marketing communications. The award is intended to acknowledge research and professional impact of faculty during the first three years of their career.

Marketing Communications Research Senior Scholar Award

This new award will recognize one scholar within Marketing Communications who has significantly contributed, in the area of outstanding research or teaching, to marketing communications. The award is intended to acknowledge the research and professional impact of senior faculty.
