Professor Jeryl Whitelock University of Bradford, UK

For her work on International Marketing Review

The award marks the retirement of Professor Jeryl Whitelock from International Marketing Review (IMR). Professor Whitelock was Co-Editor, and later Senior Editor, on IMR for 15 years, during which time the journal was accepted for indexing by Thomson Reuters and Scopus, and saw the Journal Impact Factor consistently increase. As a publication on the boundaries of marketing and international business, IMR rose to be considered one of the top international marketing journals in the world. We thank Professor Whitelock for her tireless efforts and her dedication to the journal and in the discipline.

Richard C Leventhal is truly deserving of the Outstanding Service award as a result of his tireless contribution as Editor of the Journal of Consumer Marketing. During Richard Leventhal’s tenure, the journal has gone from strength-to-strength, and is now recognised as a leading title in its field, read by thousands of scholars and students across the globe, who all appreciate the journal’s commitment to bridging the academic and practitioner divide.
