Winter AMA 2015

Introduction

AMA Winter Marketing Educators? Conference, San Antonio, 13-15 Feb 2015, Chairs Tom J. Brown and Vanitha Swaminathan; Deadline 15 Jul

The theme of this year’s AMA Winter Marketing Educators’ Conference is “Marketing in a Global, Digital and Connected World.” The goal of the AMA Winter 2015 conference is to bridge current research in marketing to an increasingly global, digital and highly connected world. As part of this conference, we will focus on a critical assessment of where our field is, and the theories that guide our current thinking. We will identify areas where we need to have additional frameworks and research to help cope with the changes that are taking place within marketing. The conference will focus on taking stock of the current state-of-the-art with regard to marketing scholarship, and help define new themes or areas where our theory is not developed.?

The Winter Marketing Educators’ Conference is a global meeting of marketing educators designed to encourage the development, dissemination, and utilization of marketing knowledge. The host city, San Antonio, TX, offers easy access with convenient flights from across the United States and world.

Co-chairs for the conference are Tom J. Brown, Oklahoma State University and Vanitha Swaminathan, University of Pittsburgh. Inquiries related to the conference may be sent via email to mweingarden@ama.org.
