The European Social Marketing Association ( ESMA) are proud to announce the opening call for papers and launch of the 2nd European Social Marketing Conference which will take place in Rotterdam on 25-26, September 2014.
Following the highly successful first conference in Lisbon, Portugal it was decided to establish the European Social Marketing Conference as an ongoing biennial conference that would rotate around Europe to showcase the application of Social Marketing principles and techniques to influence behaviour and help solve social challenges across Europe.
The conference is aimed at policy makers, practitioners, academics, researchers and politicians,to help them capture and spread evidence and examples of good practice in Social Marketing, as well as promoting the uptake of Social Marketing as a core component of social programmes across Europe.
The 2014 conference will include interactive seminars and workshops supported and stimulated by a number of keynote speeches by leading world experts in Social Marketing and the related field of research and application. The conference will focus on the application of Social Marketing to address social challenges in health, the environment, sustainability, social cohesion , transport and crime.
Early bird booking for the conference is now open and, due to the size of the venue, applications will be handled on a first come first allocated basis. We look forward to seeing you in September .
