Call for Nominations: 2014 V. Seenu Srinivasan Award, supported by Stanford University, The University of Memphis and Friends of Seenu Srinivasan.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2014 V. Seenu Srinivasan Award for recognizing papers published in the journals of the AMA that made important contributions to methodology development in quantitative marketing. The award is named after V. Seenu Srinivasan, who is Emeritus Professor of Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

We invite you to nominate yourself or any marketing scholar whose article was published in an AMA journal in 2012 or 2013. Please send a nomination letter not exceeding 250 words with a brief outline of how well the paper contributes to methodology development in quantitative marketing issues that are of interest to academics and practitioners. Include the authors’ names, address, phone numbers, e-mail address, and full citation along with the nomination letter. Please submit your nomination materials by April 24, 2014 to Rajkumar Venkatesan (venkatesanr@darden.virginia.edu).

Each year an awards committee selected from the pool of current and past MR SIG officers, past AMA journal editors, and at large quantitative research scholars will be formed to select the winners. This award will be presented in August at the 2014 Summer Educators’ Conference, San Francisco.
