Aston Marketing Research Camp

Introduction

3rd Aston Marketing Research Camp, Birmingham, UK, 28 May 2014

For the third consecutive year, Aston Business School is organising a Marketing Research Camp. The purpose of this camp is to bring world-leading researchers in marketing together to generate exciting and fruitful discussions about research practice and identify promising research directions. Our three guest speakers are worldwide leading marketing researchers: – Rob Kozinets, York University – Karen Gedenk, Hamburg University – Klaus Wertenbroch, INSEAD

Aston Marketing research camp is a subtle mix of plenary presentations, round-table workshops and networking opportunities.

Presentations: Our three guest speakers will present their latest work-in-progress. For each presentation, a one-hour slot is planned to allow for a detailed talk and an insightful discussion.

Workshops: Six thematic workshops will be led by our guest speakers and other distinguished researchers. A round-table format of 10-12 participants will enable deep and informal interaction.

Time for networking: Several discussion timeslots will be arranged as additional opportunities to meet and discuss in a relaxed atmosphere (last year, participants from over 40 universities across the UK and Europe attended the camp).
