The IMP Group

The Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group (IMP Group) is an informal international group of scholars concerned with developing concepts and knowledge in the field of business-to-business marketing and purchasing.

Early work focussed on the nature and management of relationships between companies in the international market. More recently however, this perspective has been widened to incorporate the study of complex networks within which business communities operate.

The IMP Group is the largest group in the world dealing specifically with marketing issues in a business-to-business context. Primarily based in Europe and North America, this will be the sixth time that the IMP Group has met in Asia.

Conference Venue

The IMP conference 2014 will be held in Bali, Indonesia.

On this occasion, IMP ASIA will be held at the Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel, Bali, Indonesia.

Call for papers

Critical Dates:

  • Submission of abstracts 31 March 2014 (French Time Zone)
  • Submission of papers 1 June 2014
  • Authors notified 31 July 2014
  • Early bird Registration Before 31 August 2014
  • Submission of final papers 1 November 2014

Abstracts:

Abstracts should be no more than three pages long and must include :

  • Title of the paper
  • The authors’ names
  • Institutional address
  • Contact details (phone, fax and e-mail address)

Please indicate whether you wish the paper to be submitted as a competitive paper or work-in-progress paper.

Electronic copies of the final paper must be sent to the conference organiser by 1 June 2014. Papers will be submitted to a double-blind review process. Notice of acceptance will be provided by 31 July 2014.

Papers should follow the style of the Journal of Marketing and must not exceed 20 pages (including all figures, tables and references). Working papers should not exceed 10 pages.
