SEM Boot Camp
Introduction
Structural Equation Modeling Boot Camp, The Marriott School of Management at BYU, Facilitator James Gaskin, 15-19 Jul 2013
The Marriott School of Management (Brigham Young University) is offering a 1 week “boot camp” (July 15th-19th) to professors and research-oriented students who are interested in learning structural equation modeling. The five day course will be facilitated by James Gaskin, a faculty member in the Information Systems Department. James has taught advanced multivariate statistics for academic research (focusing on structural equation modeling) by invitation from the prestigious Doctorate of Management program at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) for the past three years and at Brigham Young University for the past year. His experiences teaching C-level executives at CWRU led him to seek simpler ways to teach this complex topic. As a result, James has developed free online resources (YouTube videos, a Wiki, and automated tools) for SEM which have been utilized well over a million times by researchers all over the world. For more information about the boot camp, please visit:

Registration closes July 1st. Fees are nominal. Doctoral students, professors, and all others are welcome. Bring your own data if you have some. Please forward to others who may be interested, or who may know of others who would be interested.
If you have any questions, please email James directly: james.gaskin@byu.edu.
